Entry requirements and application materials
Applicants can compare a three-year BA (Hons), a two-year accelerated BA (Hons) and a one-year CertHE. The right choice depends on academic readiness, available time for performance practice and whether you need a complete degree or a concentrated first-stage qualification. Current entry, English and creative-evidence requirements must be confirmed for the exact route.
The published standard degree-entry benchmark is 112 UCAS points, A Levels BBC or BTEC DMM, plus GCSE English at 4/C. Other routes can be accepted, so GUGA checks the equivalency of your education separately.
English-language benchmark

A useful preparation set combines one complete DJ mix with a clear arc, a contrasting extract and one original track, edit or remix when it genuinely adds evidence. Include accurate track and collaborator credits, identify the audience and explain one difficult transition or energy decision. Do not use editing to imply a live ability you cannot reproduce.
